Caterpillars are prey found in the Shadow Caves. They are insect-like creatures with a single eyeball attached to an eyestalk rather than a visible head. They have some crystal-like structures growing on them.
Red Caterpillars are variants that can only be eaten by XL and above dragons. They emit a cloud of red gas behind them.
